A soft, sculptural hideaway for cats, handmade from 100% Alpine wool.

Drop Daisy is shaped by hand using the traditional wet-felting technique, creating a naturally irregular, seamless form without stitching or synthetic outer fabric. Its distinctive drop shape is finished with a small daisy-shaped tail, making it as much a decorative object for your home as it is a cosy retreat for your cat.

Each Drop Daisy is individually felted in my Italian workshop, using carefully selected Alpine wool. The natural variations in the wool and the handmade process mean that every piece is unique.

Made by hand in Italy

I make each cat cave from raw wool, layering and wet-felting the fibres with olive-oil soap and water until they form a strong, dense felt.

There are no seams, zips or rigid structures. The finished cave is soft, breathable and naturally insulating.

Because every cave is handmade to order, its shape, texture and colour may vary slightly from the photographs. These small imperfections are part of the character of a genuinely handmade piece.

For cats weighing approximately 1–4 kg

Measurements are approximate and may vary slightly because each cave is shaped by hand. Height does not include the tail.

Choose your colour

Drop Daisy is available in a selection of natural wool colours. The appearance of each colour can vary slightly depending on the natural characteristics of the wool.

Made to order

I make each Drop Daisy individually rather than keeping a large stock of finished caves.

The production time depends on the availability of the wool and the number of orders in progress. If a particular colour or size requires additional wool, this may affect the production time.

A natural material

Alpine wool is naturally insulating and breathable, making felt a particularly suitable material for a cosy cat hideaway.

The wool I use is carefully selected for felting and is processed into a dense, durable felt entirely by hand.

Please note

Drop Daisy is a handmade object, so no two caves are exactly alike. Small differences in shape, surface texture and colour are natural characteristics of the material and the hand-felting process.

The product is intended for indoor use.

The cave should be allowed to retain its natural shape and should not be machine washed. For everyday care, gently shake or vacuum the surface and spot-clean when necessary.
